These are the ones you buy for a special little girl to give her special memories of playing with her Barbies. In addition, the pink box Barbies are a little less expensive. This can be a good choice for the beginner or the child just starting a collection.
The Collectible Barbies are exactly that...Collectible. They are issued especially for the collectible market. Most collectors of the Collectible Barbies prefer them NRFB (Never Removed From Box).
Popular themes is another way to collect your Barbies. There are so many themes out there that it should be easy for a beginning collector to choice. Then again, there are so many that you may have a hard time narrowing it down. Your theme should be something that makes you smile when you look at her. Choose a theme that brings you joy. It will make your collecting even more fun.

If you plan on deboxing your Barbie anyway, why pay extra for the box? Many bargains can be found with Barbies that have been removed from the box. Just check out okay.
By purchasing a deboxed Barbie, you can purchase some of the most expensive Barbies for around the price you would pay for a NRFB Barbie. However, you have to remember that the deboxed Barbies may not be in mint condition as the NRFB usually are. Its really your preferrance.
